IMC Companies Receives Multiple Workplace Safety Awards from Great West Casualty Company
Five regional companies recognized for safety achievements
IMC Companies was presented safety awards by Great West Casualty Company as part of Great West’s Annual Workplace Safety Awards Program. Five regional companies within the IMC Companies Family of Brands were recognized: Atlantic Intermodal Services, DNJ Intermodal Services, Gulf Intermodal Services, and H&M Intermodal Services were awarded the Platinum Safety Award; Intermodal Cartage Company was awarded the Gold Safety Award.
The Workplace Safety Awards program recognizes trucking companies for their dedication to creating and fostering a safe work environment for their employees. Awards are based on a motor carrier’s year-end workplace incident rate. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Participatory award.

At IMC Companies, we work very hard to maintain and further improve our Safety Culture,” said IMC Companies Executive Vice President Safety and Risk Management, Lynn Parrish. “We place a high value on safe behavior.
